The Australian Sailing Museum, incorporating the America’s Cup Museum, is now open, Monday - Sunday, 9am - 5pm and is located on the Boardwalk, Ormsby Terrace, City of Mandurah, Western Australia; the gateway to the exciting new Mandurah Marina. This fully interactive museum will be one of the largest and most extensive in Australia. You’ll be able to spend a day smooth sailing around the displays, as well as purchase from our museum store.

Rolly Tasker – A Sailing Icon
Rolly Tasker was visited by PhuketPlus.TV late last year and it is a fascinating interview to watch. They discuss some of Rolly’s incredible sailing history and the making of his biography “Sailing to the Moon”. They also visit Rolly’s 9,000 m² sail loft in Phuket which is an amazing building. Australian Sailing Museum and Rolly Tasker Sails Mandurah Easter Regatta 2009
Its on again, come to, as some say the best waters to sail Mandurah Comet Bay , enjoy the 4 th annual Australian Sailing Museum and Rolly Tasker Sails Mandurah Easter dinghy coaching regatta.
With high profile coaches Arthur and Belinda Brett, Peter Gilmour to name a few who will be there , coaching is for every one on Good Friday starting at midday for a 6 hr session and debrief, plus de-briefs on the other days . The canteen will be open on Good Friday but the main clubhouse will be closed, for those who have enjoyed the experience of this regatta and the nationals we held this year we welcome you back to once again enjoy the friendly atmosphere and great sailing Mandurah Offshore Fishing and sailing Club has to offer. There will be a mixed dinghy division if your class does not have 5 boats.
Hobie tigers and 16’s are making an appearance this year to get to know the waters for there nationals will be held.

The Club is going from strength to strength with MOFSC holding this year the OAMPS Insurance Brokers Youth Championships 2009 and The Australian /Open Optimist National Titles 2009 with 248 Boats involved . The Club is also Hosting the Hobie Nationals 2009/10 over Christmas New year period, Also is proud to announce that the World Fireball Championships are to be held at Mandurah 20011/12.
